Thought he played well today, had a decent game. Was part of most, if not all, of our tries and looked to take the line on confidently. Missed a couple of tackles, but for the first game that can be expected, both sets of players were missing tackles.

Yes he did. When he plays right at the defensive line with running options he looks dangerous.

To be fair Rovers stood off Long when he had ball in hand near the red and whites line so he was doing enough to worry Rovers. Just think some of the players around him aren't of the right calibre to keep up with him.

You're right. There were a couple of occasions he was stranded for runners but the shape of some of the attack showed promise in my view. However as pmarrow has pointed out elsewhere it needs to be consistent and not just on occasional sets.

He's on his own, that's his problem.

We all know what he can do, whatever team he plays for, but at Saints he had the class around him. He doesn't have that with your lot.

He can't seem to dominate an entire match and switches off at certain times. We desperately need someone alongside him to take the pressure off and I'm afraid Tuner aint it.

I thought he did okay and we played with a decent amount of width at times. Our problem today was our defence and especially our defence in our own 20, it was awful.

Turner was fine today, our attack was not the issue today it was our defence.
