looks to me like the length of the rugby pitch has been reduced as can be seen from the pitch markings



Also the touchline are now astro turf.



The in goal area looks smaller as well

I believe it's a Feng Shui thing to try and attract Chinese investors.

Whos actually confirmed its smaller? Cos the astro turf at the ends has replaced a tarmac patch that was or looked the same size?

the 30 to the 40 is no longer a full 10 metres. In goals shorter too

aasuming the mower lines are 5 metres each then the pitch has shrunk to 90 metres. Retrograde step IMO and needs sorting

sky commentators said the in goal area's were narrow but i can't say that i noticed much difference.

Deffo shorter, by approx. 6 metres. Sad times and the Council should step in and make sure it's sorted!

Looked about 8 at the south end and 6 or 7 at the north. Terrible

Anyone notice the puffball marking were already on, they not even played yet.



But this did help spot the size, last year the try line was the goal line, now the goal line is the deadball line

I was amazed last home game that certain posters on here was questioning whether the pitch size had been reduced or not. It's blindly obvious to a simpleton! Really annoying, and I can't see how we're allowed to have such a tiny in goal area.

It's about time the PA system was sorted out too.
