Can he actually speak English, or was this a joke?
Just been watching the replay on Sky+, and in the last incident with 10 seconds to go, the ref calls him and Radford over and the ref says "Can you speak English?" and Radford says "he can a little bit".
I was under the impression his first language was in fact English?

Was just Radford winding silverwood up.
There is an interview with Hame on Hull FCTV.He certainly speak's english on that.  |

Good stuff!
If you watch the incident on the 68th minute when Silverwood has a word with Lauaki after the Morrison "reverse-gear" incident (great quote from Phil Clarke there!), Radford comes in and says "he can't speak English mate", which (in hindsight) is pretty funny!

He was playing 2nd row for much of the match and IMO looked quite effective running out wide. |

Lauaki is more of a ball playing back row forward then a battering ram prop, his main weakness is probably his defence. Was pretty quiet in the first half, but pretty decent second half. If he is anyway near the player he was at the Warriors he'll be a very good signing IMO. |
