Seeing as we have a large number of players out of contract at the end of this season, we could have some room to manouvere when it comes to recruitment.

What areas should the club be looking at when it comes to retention/recruitment?.

Fitz extending is a must for me. Would also like us to retain Hall & Houghton.

Would also like to see us signing a player such as Ratchford from Salford.

Be interested to see what others think.

signing ratchford should be a priority when salford lose their franchise! much better than myler imo, more of a creater, myler reminds me of mcguire at leeds, good support player and takes the glory of scoring simple tries whilst teamates do all the hardwork

Can't see Tickle staying unfortunately. Hope he does though.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Berrigan move on as well. Don't know anything, just a feeling I have. Would like to see him stay, but if not at least a large wedge of the salary cap will be freed up.

Are Radford & Dowes out of contract after this season?. If so, a few interesting decisions will have to be made.

in the 18th man programme from the cas match, in the berrigan interview it stated he had a 4 year contract, no mention of it being optional, so im taking it that he will be with us for 2011

Didn't see that. Thought the last year was optional. Like I say, hope he does stay. Especially as we are beginning to see what he can do with a good pack.

cusack will most likely retire

Stated in the HDM that he is now happy at Hull and is looking to stay, after his early season form that is good news.



Cant see a lot of change for next season as long as we dont have a repeat of last year, lots of good youngsters coming through.



A prop to replace Cusack should be the priority, also the signing of a young hooker to replace Berrigan is something that maybe needed as I dont think there is a young hooker coming through yet.



Apart from Cusack and maybe Calderwood I would keep all the OOC players if I had to decided now.

Would agree with that, LMS? I'm hearing this is on the cards. Deals with the quota issue aswell.

Looking at that I'd re-sign all that are OOC, except Cusack due to the quota regulations. We need a replacement for him and a young halfback for Longy to mentor in 2011.
