That's the one I was refering to earlier in the thread, one of the great Boulevard moments for those of us that didn't leave at half time.

| Remember us losing a very close game at the Stoop and he missed all the kicks. That's it.

| Hallas was great for us in turning us from a Div 1 club into a SL one. Ok he wasn't no world beater but he had a nack of scoring at the right time.
Best memories of Hallas, when he scored that try against Halifax (which to me was better then the Saints comeback, when you consider what was on the line that season) and that interception try he scored against Leeds to end there unbeaten start to the season. Threepenney went barmy when he did that.

| Graham Hallas is a star in my eyes.....
He regularly turns out, free of charge and willing to play for the GB Allstars. He has been part of the set-up that has raised £thousands for 'Life For A Kid'.
Like has been mentioned...he was no superstar, but did his job admirably on an RL pitch. Those that have fronted up and called him.....Have you ever played?????
NAH,,,,thought not

Good try that one, but the GB one must be his defining moment!

| Wasn't we down 20 nil to Fax in the game mentioned?
If I recall we had just had a try disallowed by Horney, which would have given us the lead before the Hallas winner.
I'm sure it should be one of Wilfs memories, if it is'nt all ready. Fantastic comeback and one which has definately stayed in my memory bank

So he does a bit for charity , people have been asked for their opinions, which are generally that he was no great shakes, the truth is he was an average player, who most probably over achieved by representing GB.
