Thats the thing that some people......no, most people on here cant get into their heads. If they are not prepared to single a few players out for critisism and give a valid reason for our losing games that we should have a 'divine right' to win, then its always gonna be Agar that the buck is gonna smash into, Its always Agar that is at fault! Well all I can say is there must be a lot of other idiots like me out there....And some of them actually put Rich Agar in poll position to take the 'poison chalice' that is the GB/England coaching job!

We are all a bit frustrated at losing 'easy' games (THERE AREN'T ANY EASY GAMES IN SL!!!!!) but it isn't...as Chet says...Agar that is doing the schoolboy errors on the pitch IS IT??? The team is picked on their training performance. The team is also picked on their fitness.......and that word seems to have been like a curse over our club for the last few years...Well since 2007 as far as I remember.

To sum up.....Rich Agar can only p!ss wish the tool he has, and at the moment it seems like he is trying to drill a hole with a pencil......Not his fault if the pencil is blunt on the day !!!! (think about it and be patient)

I see your point, I think some of the players are getting away with the flak they deserve because of Agar, and many Hull fans think that if we get a new coach some of players will suddenly improve, wont miss tackles or drop balls.



However he has signed or choosen to keep and pick these players, for example playig players in the wrong position, playing injured players.



Signing Cusack was a shocking descion when we had Dowes and Radford signed on total waste of a quota spot which could have been used to sign halfback or back.



The players must be playing to his game plan, which for most of the season is 5 drives and kick, other teams throw the ball about, and when we do throw the ball about we can look quite good.



His use of subs annoy me, on Saturday things clearly wheren't working so bring Mcshane on, instead he leaves he off for the a long spell.



Our best player so far this season (apart form Manu) is playing on the wing and totally wasted, play him at 6, and Turner on the wing, if he doesnt like it, tough s**t drop him into the reserves.



Far too many basic errors week in week out as a coach, he clearly doesnt seem to learn from his errors.



I still cant believe he got a 2 year deal, or the back of nothing.



It has to be one of the worst decisions I have seen from a Hull board in the last 25 years.

I don`t hate him at all,he seems a decent bloke,just don`t want him as our coach.

Kear and Sharp sacked for a damn site less....Sharp had a worse injury situation and had to deal with Cooke legging it and he also sorted the dressing room out..........so why is Agar still in the job.

Kear had lost the dressing room and couldn't continue. Sharp had took our GF reaching squad and signed some very average players.. we were going backwards.

I know all that but they was sacked for less than Agar is serving up....at least Sharp sorted the defence out.

Agar inherited our worst squad for a while. No one can doubt that we've made a step forward this year, fans are clearly negative about the team and with good reason after the last couple of years. We beat Wakefield quite comfortably last week despite having numerous key players out, the same Wakefield (without Cooke) pushed a pretty much full strength Leeds all the way this weekend, does that make McClennan a bad coach? Rovers, after finishing fourth, are now getting hammered most weeks, is it the players or the coach?



Everyone asked for a closer super league and it's what we've got.

Good points. For me Agar falls down in his selection policy and his seeming inability to motivate players into performing the basics to a high standard. No coach would have coped well with the ridiculous injuries we have had and are still having, however that doesn't stop whatever team we put out going out and playing a simple structure error free like their lives depend on it. There have been too many Quins-game type performances where the basics are missing and players seem to think it OK to perform in a slipshod fashion. Agar says as much after each game yet we see it time and time again. That reflects poorly on him I'm afraid.

Nobody has a devine right to expect to win every game, (except maybe Saints fans

) but what we as fans do expect is a 100% commitment.Nothing more,nothing less.
