think its more likely that PG knows he is an explosive game changer , young and british and he wants to keep him so offered him a cracking deal to see if we can get him to stay, there are few better places that Oz for a young man to go and experience life away from the UK so why wouldnt he be tempted to go !!

Whilst everyone is ecstatic at the change in communication levels from the past, there is a line where it can become damaging. One I would say is discussing contract offers. If Briscoe wants to leave, then we can come out after and say we offered him x, y and z. In our experiences so far, Manu, Prince etc, I don't see the benefit of making announcements to the world.

I think Hull know he's probably already made his mind up and are just trying to show the fans they did all they could to keep him. Good luck to him either way.

An nrl team have to want him in the first place and its seems they are only ever after our forwards , nrl teams spit first class backs out for fun imo . That said I hope he signs for us but I think he will end up at leeds if not the nrl

I can't imagine that Ben Galea was going round telling everyone that Tom Briscoe was moving to Aus next season.

I hope he stays but if not I'd rather see him play in the NRL than a rival SL team .

Whatever happens I hope the club stick to their guns that this is their 'final offer' and don't get sucked in to a bidding war.



as good as Tom is, you can't spend mega money on a winger...particularly when we need a Scrum Half so badly.
