Why not use Man City stadium if Old trafford not possible.

Or better still just get rid of the crappy event all together.

TBH I wouldn't mind it if we were ever up for the game. Apart from last year we've been utter $hite in these games which is really poor. Fans make a big effort to spend their weekend and their cash on following the team and have seen scant reward for it so far in terms of the team's performance.

The idea of the Magic weekend was to (a) spread the game and bring new supporters from outside the heartlands and (b) give smaller clubs a big day out with a Cup final atmosphere.



Today's attendance is pathetic and tomorrow's will be similar. I'd like to bet that 90% of the crowd are supporters of Hull, Rovers, Leeds, Wigan, Saints and Warrington.



The original concept was a brave one but unfortunately it just hasn't worked.

Stadium near to a city centre; big enough stadium without being too big at this stage of Magic's development; an area that logically could see expansion of RL. Switch Magic to end of May bank holiday when Newcastle have finished their season and everyone's a winner

I think it is the biggest waste of money ever.



Why dont the RFL invest the money into getting some desent refs.

26,642 in a 67,000 capacity stadium with probably 3 of the best supported teams in Hull, Leeds and Bratfut.

Other than the fans making that special effort the rest could be applied to any venue.

I would hold it at the start of the season in London. We already have two professional clubs in London who whilst they have had too much money thrown at them over the years with little return, I feel a February big KO at Wembley (I would prefare the Emirates but thats out of the question in mid season) with loads of promotion would work.



Looking at what Saracens have done with promotion in London we could get 50 - 60000 for each day. Plau all the national press is based in London and we might just generate some good publicity to kick off the super league season.

I agree with taking it to Newcastle. It would be easier to get to and you could go there and back in a day. Only other thing they could do is to take it to another country to promote the game.

Get it in Rotterdam or Amsterdam
