I think he was fit enough to play at least 2 x 25 min slots (possibly longer) which is an improvement and he looked determined enough.
Just because i said at some points I saw him blowing out of his and taking a hard earned breather after a few hard runs hardly means he is completely unfit !
IMO he worked hard tonight and I was impressed with his work rate. |

very impressed with tuffour on the wing, hope we sign him up if possible
hall didnt stand out to be fair even at that level, doesnt deserve to be back in first team
king, moa were good as was maloney
hodgson did ok, doesnt look big enough for second row
jack briscoe looked solid at full back, was hoping to see james greene there though
number 11 for rovers was aswell, was it scott taylor, ryan esders ?

IMO nobody on tonight's showing will be playing 1st team rugby in the near future, a complete lack of quality on show. Lots of effort and graft but little else, both teams were pretty ordinary. The biggest concern for me is the fact that our reserve team plays without half backs just like the 1st team.

kingy seemed to be struggling for fitness at times but to be fait put a shift in in the last quarter. moa was excellent and seems to be coming up to the required standard. was well impressed with briscoe at fullback - he has the nack of doing most things right, always a requirement for the last line of defence!

If you honestly believe he was excellent and coming up to the required standardits a good job you dont pick the team. I can honestly understand why Agar isn't playing him in the 1st team he would get murederedby the bigger more athletic players and more so by the pace and intensity of the game |
