He wont dominate when we don't have the ball or on exit sets. Attack wasn't the problem today - it showed some good signs. Second row channel defence inside our own 20 was a joke.

He was heavily involved in both of Hull's first tries.

Even when we had the ball he wasn't calling the plays from tackle 3 onwards which should be just a given for a number 7. I'm not even talking about "attack" as such but controlling the sets and structure of those exit sets you mention. Standing too shallow on the 5th tackle so he is under pressure for the kick etc. Yes defence was shocking but this thread is about Long. He did some things well but he needs to be setting the tone and making sure those sets run like clockwork.

I thought he was one of the worst tbh.
