| Some people are so small minded; the game would provide positive publicity in so many ways, including selling the city to overseas players. There are times when Rovers and FC should work together for the good of the game and the city.
It's a shame there are so many backward looking 'supporters'. You lot can call Hudgell all you like, but he is a sucessfull Hull business man, who puts money, time and effort into a sport he loves, it's a shame more don't do the same.

| While it is a good idea, I'm not sure it was nh's, his other comments will make sure it doesn't happen.
It is a shame hull and hkr can't work together on some areas, but it's pointless debating who's at fault for that.

The prat shows nothing but contempt for Hull FC and it's supporters so remind me again why we should listen to anything he has to say? He has no interest in the good of the game etc because if he did he wouldn't be bending the rules to cram as many Aussies in his team as possible. The only reason he would suggest it is to benefit Rovers.

I would like to be associated with the above comments.
Seems like a poor idea all round to me, notwithstanding the fact that St. George have ruled out playing any warm-up games before the WCC.

Leaving aside the St George non event and the fact that NH was the first to discuss the possibility (he did say he had held discussions with Jimmy Rule) I think a combined Hull/Rovers team playing against a touring side is a great idea and would be something of a coup for the City of Hull.
