SMC runs the stadium which is owner by Hull CC.
Hull City own themselves and rent the stadium.
The SMC isnt owner by anyone as far as i can tell. |

Yes, monies are paid to the SMC for rent of the facility, but that rent covers ground maintenance etc. and also forms the basis of the minimum amount the Council recieve.
IF, and it is a massive IF, there have been any irregularities it is more likely to be the loan taken out in advance of the TV monies has been diverted to prop up other associated businesses owned by Burnett, which would be very difficult unless you had some of the most "creative" accountants going.
Corporate Finance is notoriously complex, even more so given the requirements of the audit of Premiership Club accounts, the whole story has very little to do with FC, other than the fact that the SMC is our landlord, but ultimately they are only there because of the Counci.'"
And if any discrepencies are found the council would choose a different SMC or management thereof, meaning this still has very little to do with Hull FC  |

The SMC is actually Superstadium Management Co Ltd which is a limited company which turns over approx £1.2m per annum from rents from City and FC, bar and catering takings etc. The shareholders in this company are the same people who own the shares in Hull City AFC hence the close link between the two that Mrs B is talking about. |

Indeed.
And if anything were to happen to the SMC the council would take back control of the stadium and arrange for someone else to run it.
This really is a non-story for FC and its fans. |
