Lets not knock the guy in any way as we would not anyone else who lost their job ..especially as its Lee!



The word is simply that moore has taken over the whole package and as he is regarded worldwide as the Messiah with junior players it makes perfect sense to me and expected as much when he joined.

His imput at the club has already been exemplary and a breath of fresh air by all accounts and nothing to do with drawing belts in at all, simply makes good business sense to remove a position we no longer need!!

indeed, was a strange decision when we made it, and this indicates that someone has seen sense.

Youre right, we dont have to. But as i'm sure youre aware there are also benefits of paying people off in these kind of situations. If we back fill the role meaning its still there it wouldnt be redundancy anyway it would be some kind of compromise agreement, i would reckon we have strongly caveated it which may be the reason we've paid him a fee.

Indeed. Depends what the thinking is around it. We have a fairly large team of coaches anyway, i'd imagine the responsibilty can just be spread around.

Hope this shows we are using Moore's obvious experience in the area of youth development. Don't need 2 blokes doing that whether it's Lee Crooks or anyone else. As for any office redundancies why should Hull FC be immune to the current economic climate ? Hopefully we are acting to preserve our profitable position.

imo this was an odd decision to employ him in the first place - regardless of his undoubted relevance to the clubs history. Couldnt really see what his role was supposed to be given the roles of Andy Last and Steve Crooks.



I reckon SC is a strong character and as much as FC appear to be hell bent on devaluing his role, his roots within the club go much deeper than some would think.



When you think he's (SC) had the academy finance taken away from him and given to Mel Harmon, his so-called "problems" of last year allied with his apparent demotion from pitchside first team duties and then a former player given a role fabricated once again to (seemingly for him I'm sure) undermine his standing I think a lesser character would have had enough by now. Steve Crooks it seems is made of sterner stuff.



Not sure this employment was done for that reason but there does appear to be lots of coincidence there

Wont be missed....was a strange appointment and along with Sharp..it proves that ex-players arent always going to be good when they come back.



Agar has got rid of the deadwood in players and looks as though he is doing it with the coaching staff.
