I wouldn't drop Whiting because of his errors because he is usually very reliable, however I don't think he offers any attacking threat from the full back position, he is much better suited to centre. Sharp is safe under the high ball and returns well but he also has lots of speed and will run all game. I'd tell him to play full back and to stick to the big men like glue when they are carrying it up. It's about time we started making use of the offload games of our big men.
Turner isn't good enough IMO to be a starting 6 but he has alot of utility value so let have him on the bench and Obst to start (if available), play Westy in his prefared position for 80 minutes and use Fitz as a prop (pretty much the role he plays already. Lauaki to spell with Manu and Briscoe back on the wing (for the time being at least), jobs a good un. |
