In current terms Lee Briers isn't exactly svelte.

He was one of the best players on the park when we played Catalans in the cup earlier in the season and the Championship is a lot more intensive that people sometimes give credit for so I've no concerns about him playing in SL next season, especially with a full-time pre season behind him.

Well if he is a ''project'' like Moa was when he first arrived,we have nothing to worry about.

whats the massive fuss about his weight people talk about him as though hes jarrod hickey, ellis has always been quite big and has a big upper body frame, i feel as though hes just bulked up abit to much upper body whilst been out with a knee injury but with a good pre season and FULL TIME training i have no doubts he will be in great shape and the fact that he is quite big lets him draw defenders to him which could create space out wide like numerous times last night. for me cant wait to see ellis develop with us potentailly could be a very good player for us proper halfback that kicks well and gets in at first reciever and orginisers well.

so why dont people actually talk about how he played well last night and he kicked a 40 20 which if he can replicate that for us then he will be already a success

You do realise that we've kicked 40/20's ourselves. He's a player with real potential, but one or two people seem to be going a tad OTT. I doubt he'll figure much next season apart from injury cover.
