I doubt he would end up at Leeds as we have Zak Hardaker (2016), Ryan Hall (2016), Kallum Watkins (2016), Joel Moon (2015), Ben Jones Bishop (2014). Then Jimmy Keinhorst, Luke Briscoe, Josh Sunley, Jamel Chisholm, Jimmy Watson coming through the ranks and then possibly Joe Vickery signing a deal.

TBH who could blame Tom for going and trying his hand in the NRL? Nobody.



The only thing that could see Tom stay another year or two before inevitably going to Oz would be if he is convinced we as a club can win a major trophy during that spell.



Money will not be the issue as it will be a chance for Tom to live the dream and experience a very different lifestyle and play in the best league in the world amongst the best players, no UK club can offer Tom that.

Money is almost always the issue. RL is a short term career and players know they will have to get a 'real' job once their careers are over. Not sure if any clubs offer players any kind of incentives regarding training for future professions.

When I say money will not be an issue, he will be able to earn the same or indeed more in Oz than Hull offer & I believe its his desire to play in the NRL that will drive his decision.

Dont get me wrong I know money talks etc but if we offer a deal that is matched monetary terms by a club in Oz then for me it wont be about the money but the chance to play in the NRL.

The flights are £500 cheaper to fly home on a Monday. So I can justify the stop over.
