What I am saying is if it's too early to heap praise then it's too early to slag off.



He has proved nothing yet either way. But normally those that won't give him praise are quick to jump on him after one defeat.

What I'm saying is that I have said all along we won't be able to say much either way untiul well into the season which is why I haven't been swinging from the treetops when we've won or slitting my wrists when we lose.

Not in the slightest. My previous (and current) opinion's on agar's abilities were founded on his proven inability to get the best out of the group of players he had to work with over nearly a 2 year period. I know for a fact that his track record to date prove he isn't a good coach. I am, however, willing to give him some time with a new group of players to see if he has learned anything and improved his abilities. I have siad all along this season that the odd great performance or the occasional poor one prove nothing, it's the overall level of performances which will be the evidence.



Practically speaking, great coaches can get the best out of whoever they are working with and to be considered a good coach would take a number of years of consistent performances to evidence it. Tony Smith has shown at 3 clubs he can get people to perform well, likewise kear

agar's rubbish and he should be binned

I'm not a big fan of Agar's. He hasn't proved anything yet, apart from the fact that he knows how to recruit a decent squad, starting with the pack. IMO he will show us exactly what quality of coach he is within the next 5 or 6 weeks when we will have played Wigan, Leeds and Bradford.



I'm not holding my breath and I suspect that he will show us that he falls short when compared to the better coaches in SL but give him the next two months maximum and we should know either way.
