If he wants to go out after the match that's fine by me. Is he supposed to get in his car and skulk off back to Leeds with Kath? The man has the right to go out and socialise in his home town without being assaulted by a drunken Dobbin. |

Not really. Hudgell used to always go in Saltshouse Tavern straight after a Derby...wonder what Big Dave T did to change that? 
They have a right to a social life once the club duties are over and nobody can predict were drunken fans spoiling for a fight are going to turn up.  |

So you think that he does not have the right to be in licensed premises in Hull?
Is there any suggestion that Rule was doing anything wrong?
Was he behaving badly?
Was he drunk?
No.
He was minding his own business when some yob came up and had a go at him. He stuck up for himself and saw the oaf off. He would have been quite justified in having him arrested and prosecuted (it was all on CCTV) but decided it would only inflame the bad relations between the two clubs and their supporters.
I don't often stick up for Rule but I'm going to on this occasion. |

I dont see why our CEO cant go out for a beer. If some rovers numpty wants to pick a fight with him and get beaten up then surely the problem isnt James Rules? Isnt it the behavior of the fans that need talking about rather than our CEO? |
