You are an inspiration to me, and I will never forget the 2 weeks of my life last year that a family of Rugby League supporters joined together in aid of a true legend of the game.



As well as that, the Prescott's are one of the nicest families I have met.

Shall I tell you what most inspires me about Steve, his humbleness. He'll feel so humble at the news of his MBE and will be constantly thanking everyone else.



When we went to Perpignan to see the Carnegie Challenge begin he couldn't do enough for us, asking us who we wanted to meet and have pics with. His mind must've been full of what lay ahead but still put us first, for which I will be forever grateful as we and the boys will have those memories of Steve forever.



I feel truly bless to have met Steve and hope I get to meet him again in the future.

I also spent a few days with him on the walk and it was a pleasure,but the thing that will live with me for many a year is when i took part in the boxing with him,it was a pleasure to be in the same ring as him and help raise a few quid for his foundation,the public of hull have always be there for him and always will be,thats the appreciation true greats recieve.
