He did "okay" on Sunday as he always does but, IMO, we need more if we are going to beat Leeds. He is starting to suffer from the utility player tag and IMO we have two better than him in Whiting and Turner.



What happened to Tansey being considered our 2nd choice SH anyway ?? I've heard Agar saying that a number of times pre-season, including at the fans forum, and yet he seems reluctant to put him there ?

Tansey is doing very well at Full Back especially in attack so I see no reason to change that. Washy or Turner alongside Horne they both have good and bad points IMO.

I think Long will get jabbed up and play. Dont think you will see him again till the next round though should you progress.

On Sundays evidence we dont need to risk him if he's not right. We played at about 50% and can beat Leeds without Long if we step our game up.

I've been disappointed with Turner in the halves. Too soon for him imo. (looks more like a 13 too)



I'd like to see Washy partner Horne if Long is out.

To be fair to Turner he has never claimed to be half back, his preferred position being centre.



Washy will never cut it as a SL half back, although I though he did OK against both Wire and Leeds and his versatility may come in useful.

Turner grew up playing 6 or 13 and said he sees himself long term as a 6.

I'm sure I read somewhere after he signed for us that he said he saw himself as a centre. Haven't got the time or inclination to search for it though.

He said he was happy to play centre in the short term while he develops into a 6. It was in the HDM.

Ok I'll take your word for it.

Hutchie seems to be the expert on finding old HDM links. I'm sure he'll pop up with it at some point.
