You've only got to look at Chris Ashton's union career and you can't help but think that Briscoe would be massive too,

briscoe is more suited to union than ashton IMO. He'd be a revellation if he went over. Surprised they aren't sniffing around TBH although maybe a few of the recent converts have put them off league players

He'd be absolutely wasted in yawnion and lets face it he'd hardly see the ball anyway. While he's freezing doing nothing much getting bored I'm sure the cash would help soften the blow. I doubt he'd ever be massive there either, as an ex League player and having, no kicking game fat turds like Barnes would be belittling him at every opportunity and never accept him. If he leaves Hull, and I hope he doesn't, then the NRL is the only place to go if he is looking for glory and money.

Briscoe has displayed no kicking game to speak of which is vital to a winger in Yawnion. Ashton has one and clearly showed it in his time at Wigan.

I don't recall Jason Robinson having a great kicking game either.

League wingers don't really kick at all, doesn't mean they all can't though. The kids quick, strong and knows where the try line is, IMO he'd be a big success in union.

It's a shame that RU as a sport doesn't appear to regard 'Knowing where the try line is' as being all that important

Agreed there mate, quick fix there is to make penalties 2 points and drop goals 1 point, similar to a game we all know an love.
