Newton is cocky. I don't like Murrell or Cockayne - don't think they're cocky, just nasty. Vella's a bit niggly. The rest appear quite mild-mannered, I'd say.



I think the comment was bit ill-judged, but it was the aftermath of a derby where everyone in the media was saying we had absolutely no chance. If you listened to the RH build-up, Burns was at the KC and could find no one to back Hull. Even Murdock was using the old "form goes out of the window" non-commital stance. Agar had also had a rough time at the fans forum in the week, plus the withdrawal of the talismanic Fitz. These games are stressful for us in the stands, so that must be multiplied 10 fold for Agar. The guy's been a model of measured aftermatch comments over the last 2 years, and I think his relief, and maybe annoyance at a perceived lack of respect towards us both by Rovers and the media in general, spilled over in that comment. Many have slated a perceived lack of passion in him. I'm not an Agar fan, but I think this was a rare public manifestation of it.

Did you not see the warm up when the players were practising try celebrations, and then they moved and started to warm up near the west stand tunnel!! Arrogant and cocky to me mate !

I will say that Agar seemed put out by comments that Hull are in a false position and lucky to be there.If he rattles a few cages,then he has my vote.

As for the Dobbins as soon as the players pull on that e red and white shirt they come across as cocky....can't stand any of them, the staff or the majority of the fans!

To be fair, I heard Rich on Humberside straight after the game and he was being lead constantly by the commentator asking constant questions over whether they where too confident, never heard the word cocky mentioned or the hairstyles concerned, think a lot of it is the usual HDM mischief and misquoting!



It's is a brave statement though to say a player actually rang them!
