Yeah one year deal for next season, as a stop-gap I assume. Rumour has it that we're in talks with or at least targeting a halfback for the 2012 season on a more long term deal.

Would suit me that. He'll have to train his socks off to get into the 17 and then perform on the pitch to earn his next deal, wherever that may be.

Does anyone actually know if he's good enough to improve us in the halfbacks ?

That's what i liked about Cordoba in 2009, wasn't the best but gave it 110% and got another deal at Cronulla. He's also a hero for slapping Fozzard about a bit in the derby at the dump!

He is a decent half and will bring experience to key positions. Also if our halves stay fit then he will be important in helping Houghton at hooker, playing 80 mins every week is a mistake. Not a worldbeater but we have to remember he is being signed as cover.

Knowing our luck it will be Moa and Lauaki

I have to admit, no. But i've done some digging around other forums and the common consensus is that he's a 7 that can cover 9 well and 6 ok.
