Coming back to Super League a year early. Says he's not started negotiations with any SL club yet, but can't believe that's right. Back to Leeds? Warrington? Wakefield? Gentle is a huge fan but can't see him coming here unfortunately. Will be good to see him back in SL.

Cas fans in the past have siad that he finish his career there as he is big fan, but can't see that happened just yet.



You would guess Leeds but they have quite a strict salary cap policy.



Warrington or Wigan would be my guess.

The big question would be do we need another backrower over a right centre or prop (x2)?

It's a chance for Adam Pearson to show his intent although there will be plenty of competition.



Gentle is obviously a link due to their time together at Wests and I'm sure we'll at least talk to Ellis.

I really like Ellis, he's a great player but you're right our next priorty has to be a right centre and a very good prop to take us to the next level.

I can see your point, hopefully we can persuade at least one of of OOC props to stay or use Tickle as a prop.



I'd still try and sign him as it seems stupid not to try and sign one of the worlds best forwards.



Don't think it will happen as at the age of 32 he will be looking for a club that has more chance of winning trophies than Hull

One or two of the positions that you mention are only on 1 year contracts anyway including Sam Moa, so i would i of thought we may even need two class props, saying that if we are to challenge then we have to push the boat out to do all we can to bring the calibre of player that Gareth Ellis is.Imo i don't think any of the backrowers we have at the club are as good as him.

Think weve got bigger problems than that as i reckon both Moa and O'Meley will go home at the end of the year.

We might have a shot with Gentle here, Cas will as his hometown club and also he might want to go back to Leeds.



If we got him then I would imagine Tickle would move to prop.

Unlikely we would get him and TBH I think we have other priorities but would love to see him at the club.
