Quote Chris Dalton="Chris Dalton"An incredibly frustrating game for a number of reasons.
First off, I was stuck in front of the stupidest loud mouth in the history of Widnes. Kept calling everyone "maggot" and blaming the referee even when he didn't blow his whistle. I honestly had to put my headphones in second half to drown out his offensive noise. Listening to The Prodigy whilst watching rugby league aint half bad. Maybe next time I'm watching it on sky I will turn off that bald fool and stick on ACDC instead.
There were old people and kids about and this idiot was ruining it for everyone. If we'd have had him as coach, centre or referee we'd no doubt win 80-0 every week. Seriously, sometimes I just think, you know what, go home, take a look in a mirror, and shout the things you are saying right now. See how it looks and whether you are as ashamed as you should be in retrospect. Go see a good psychologist and get a new hobby. Painting never lets you down. If you're this bad at sporting events, don't go because you have a problem.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to this loud mouth. Two rows infront there were 3 old women, whom when one turned round to complain he told them to eff off and sit in the family stand if they didnt like it. He even tried it with one of the stewards who he said had walked straight into his arm. People like him are a disgrace to the club. People pay good money to watch Widnes, not to listen to a gobby loud mouth commenting offensively on every action in the game.
People are entitled to let their frustrations known, but to do it constantly for 80 minutes is an absolute joke, especially as you say Chris, with young kids around. I think even this man's own son had got sick of him as he got up and didnt come back until the last 5 minutes.
Switching Paddy to full back was one of the main positives from the game. Peppered him with kicks and dealt with them very well. Think i saw Ford hobbling down the tunnel at half time which i presume was his hamstring again. We should really get Ainscough involved more, seems a real livewire when he has the ball.
Referee didnt have the best of games, but yet again a poor first half has come back to haunt us. We can't give teams like Barrow a 20 point start and expect to come back time and time again.
Doran, regardless of the amount work he puts in, I think we can all agree he is a penalty machine. Ill discipline cost us dear in the first half.
Glad to see Smith back and thought the inclusion of Lunt was a good call.
All in all, a game we could have won, just down to ill discipline, silly errors and possiblly some 50/50 calls from the referee.
