For all I wanted Leeds to win (best team in 2009, Yorkshire) I thought Smiths 2nd try was clearly offside. I think the VR was the only one n the planet who thought it wasn't offside

True, but that makes no difference, he was offside.

Having watched the second Lee Smth try a number of times now I've come to the conclusion that anyone who is stating that without doubt he was off-side is indeed superman and has xray vision to be able to see exactly where the ball was in relation to Lee Smith's feet. If this is the case then I can give you the number of the match officials development officer, we can always use people with such special attributes.

Ok, so the next point is why the major final of our sport has got limited camera angles for such important decisions, and why between four officials and cameras could they still not come to the correct decision between them?



And yes I know we had the heli cam shot, which unfortunately found itself too far over the roof of the stand to get a decent shot of it, and we had a rail cam on one side of the ground, but not the other.

i'd just like to say i'm glad the video ref got if so wrong last as this just shows the ref's in the game are shi*E in fact there not even that good. as im sure many rugby fans have left many games saying the ref had a shocker granted some times its sour grapes but if your honest enough with yourself everyone left a couple of games this season weather your team has won or lost and thought the ref was shocking i know i have even when we have won
