Anyone got any background on this? Seems rather odd for a ban to just come out of the blue for no reason.

I have had an official letter from Hull FC quoting "The decision has been made to ban the individual acting as Rufus the Robin for an indefinite period of time from all events at the KC Stadium"'" |

=#000080Rufus states the reason as wriggling his bum, but =#000080the letter doesn't quote that fact? Can Rufus clarify the full content of the letter, because - if his reason =#000080is the correct one, then this is a tad embarrassing, to say the least.
However, think I'll reserve judgment 'til the full facts are known. |

It's also a bit odd that they've waited 2 weeks to say anything, that the letter didn't go through Rovers but straight to him, and that he, as an individual, is banned from the KC indefinitely when the next derby's not until the summer. Do FC even have the power to ban him from Hull City games - wouldn't that be the SMC?  |

| IF he has been banned for what is stated it is extremely pathetic from our club. Mascots are there to entertain and i doubt very much anybody would complain about the mascots.... then again i should know better and we probably recieved 1000 complaints of lewd behaviour by a mascot  |

I have spoken to Hull FC's Media Manager just now.
Its true they have banned Rufus from the KC Stadium.
Hull FC recieved compliants from spectators that Rufus showed his bare backside at the recent game.
Two questions jump straight to mind here.
Can Lee show his backside in the costume ????
Why not ask him for his version of events 1st before jumping straight in with a ban. ??????

At approximately 14.20 hours Rufus the Robin without the knowledge of the super stadium Management company ("SMC"icon_wink.gif, approched the home supportes in the North East stand corner of the East stand of the stadium, went on the pitch and bent down with his backside to the crowd and then moved in such a way that it was clear his intent was to incite the home supporters.'" |
