Possibly, but there is Cooke's wages too. Walker will have commanded a big wage when he joined. At the moment we only have one quota spot, in any case.

We need, IMO, 1 back (Colbon ideally, but there are others fed-trained and ooc if he goes elsewhere), 1 halfback (going to need the quota spot, I think) and 1 forward (numerous options, including Walker).



I think the board are intending to spend close to the cap again (looking in from the outside) - but it is also possible there will be some departures we haven't anticipated.

I said "I can't see you having" rather than "You won't have". If you can afford two top-class overseas players after releasing only 4 fringe first teamers I'd be very suprised especially with the strength of the pound against the Aussie dollar.

As said above, Cooke would of been on a fair bit. So would Walker (vastly reduced terms surely for next season)

Cooke was our top earner and I use the word earner very loosely

well according to the sun paper rovers are going to rock the super league if the deal comes of with finch app rovers will know by today if it is a done deal................ so watch this space cud ave sum gud or bad news by monday. Justin Morgan wants to bring the best players here so we can compete with the best and i do believe getting the squad rite for next season we cud do that. Finch is an awesome player as is Lima and they are under 30 which is always a gud start...

Sorry if it's already been mentioned but in The Sun today it say's you look favourite to sign him and a deal is in place.

He's a very good player, but in what way would it "rock" the entire competition? How many international caps does he have?
