Anyway, I'd just like to say, before it even happens that if T.Briscoe/P.Fox ever form a centre-wing partnership for England, that it wasn't Fox who overran the pass, but Briscoe who delayed it too long.

Briscoe out due to a lack of experience and fox never considered because he doesn't have the athletic ability to cut it at international level?

I think he was pointing out a weakness in his game that was exploited when kicks went in behind him. The fact that Smith and McGuire defended like idiots was not his fault.



Tom has tons of ability and imo it is a cop out by his coaches that they continue to play him on the wing when he is so obviously better suited to the centre position.

Well he's been given the number three shirt for next season, so maybe a move to his favoured position is finally on the cards? Personally I'd like him to start there with Hall in the other centre position, but you just know that isn't going to happen.

IMO that would also be the best way forward.

Unfortunately coaches these days are more interested in their own jobs than the development of young players, not just a dig at Agar btw, but coaches in general. There is less and less emphasis on position specifics now and first grade coaches expect young players to just fit in, adapt and get on with it rather than receive the necessary coaching that will enable them to develop naturally into a position best suited to their ability.
