Have heard that the leagues will be sent out fully on Monday, Just wondering if anyone had heard anything about them yet?

Official word is that a provisional structure was agreed at committee on Thursday night for NWC but...

...20 clubs have outstanding fines from last season so until they are paid, the structure cannot be released as clubs with outstanding monies cannot be accepted for the new season.

Releasing a provisional list would be nice - not too hard to put an * against certain teams and say subject to paying fine

Apparantly Askam have been told they are to play in division 2 and Dalton have been told they have been promoted from 3rd place in division 3.

Few changes in Divisions 3 and 4 then, as New Springs have now folded

Also heard that Pilks A and Leyland are struggling?

always get pre-season rumours though - i've been told 3 times that we've folded at Bury and its never been anything like true!!!



think leyland will be ok - they usually pick up a few from UCLan when the students return

Maybe, no rumours at Springs though it wrapped up last night, all the lads that are playing on are training elsewhere already.

Back when we had a team we always used to have some right dingdongs with you guys, and when we've struggled last 2 seasons you've always been supportive. Top club.

He's gone to Pat's, wanted to give National a go and I can't blame him really, class player.







It's been on the cards for a while mate. We had bad numbers at training for most of last season and we weren't performing like we should have - a few lads just didn't train at all because they knew we didn't have the numbers to not pick them when they turned up on a Saturday. Says a lot about the quality we had that we still got promoted pretty easily, and could have even won the league on the last game of the season. We lost a few of the lads who trained regularly to Pat's before pre-season started - that left us with 8 or 9 players who were bothered enough to keep it going, just not enough. The club wanted us to keep going but it never had a chance. Gutted about it - I've only played for the last two years and we were successful, feels like a waste of time now.





I remember playing Newton at your place in one of my first games the season before last, seems like years ago now! We won pretty easily but we treated it as a big game, I didn't know of you but there was plenty of respect for you men from our lot. I know Bostock played at 6 that game and signed for Saints not long after. Are you men still going this year?
