Strangely I thought that the photo of Peterson was a dead ringer for Ian Hunter if he added some shades and what a combination he and Ronson were........If only they'd got together earlier.

I wouldn't be surprised if Peterson joined you permanently. He's not had a look in at Bulls. I suspect he will be good and fired up to show it.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play. Tubbs usually knows a good player when he sees one, and he targeted him in pre-season, so hopefully he can get a good few games for us in the initial month. He adds to a back-row that's rather strong as it is.

I'm not sure about that. He didn't spot Ellery Hanley or Shaun Edwards in that all-time team he picked earlier this year.

Superb second half and I was impressed with Petersen and his ball playing skills. Easy to see he's had a stint at hooker in recent times. The slope was always going to be an advantage in the second half, Menzie's two tries in the latter stages of the first half were a bonus. Nice for John Davies to grab a score against his former employers too. Another game 'knocked off' as Tubbs would say.

I admire the same players as you!

In fairness to the choice of selection,it was limited to those Mark Aston has played alongside - so was mainly former Eagles players.



His half time pep talk has worked for the second game in succession and with finishing stronger in both games he seems to recognize a better standard of fitness levels.



Now we just need to hope he can get the players tuned-in for an afternoon k.o. on a Saturday - not something which happened at Blackpool.





That was the most vociferous I have heard our supporters all season.Impressed

Actually, I've picked a similar team myself and it's not as easy as you think. Choosing from a squad of, effectively, four or five hundred can leave you spoilt for choice.
