| Terry Matterson. The players have responded well, he deserves credit for picking them up, getting us playing some good, flowing rugby again (in the last 2 games in particular) Well done Terry!

| Glad to see Terry get this award as it is clearly fully deserved judging by your 4 wins in a row
I just hope it shuts up all the morons on here that wanted him out when things weren't going too well
Although i wouldn't expect this post to receive much adulation towards TM as most of you have constantly slagged him off!
Funny how once the Cas p1ss head was shown the door by TM and the results start to improve?

| Sack him, has clearly lost the respect of the players, they even laugh at him when he tries to discipline them apparently. The sheer audacity of the bloke coaching a team ravaged by injuries to 4 consecutive wins, who does he think he is? God?
For the love of sweet baby Jeebus, go now Terry, you have clearly took the team as far as it will go and fresh blood is needed.
The silence is fecking deafening but I expect the usual vultures to come swooping as soon as we lose a game.

| =#0080FFThe accolade is well deserved after our recent run of form.
As for the people who were saying TM out earlier in the season...I have to say I don't think I ever once called for his head but I did begin to wonder if he was really the right man for the job.
He's done a great job with the limitations he's had to deal with as far as I'm concerned.
However, I still have concerns over player discipline and think it's something he should have addressed a long time ago.
That being said, I don't want to turn this into a negative post. Congrats Terry and keep it up.

| Vulture here!!!
I'm over the moon with the recent performances, showing real fight in games we would have lost earlier in the season.......is this down to TM being a tactical genius.............
I'd have to say NO NO and errrrr NO.
I'd say its a combination of things:
1) Dead wood gotten rid of....yes, Sherwin. Its a bit like last year when we got rid of Faumina or whatever his name was, we suddenly got some form back when he was gone.
2) Return from injury of Key players such as Ferres, Dixon and Widders----lets hope he stays fit, he owes us big time!!
3) Injurys to crap such as Clayton actually forcing Mattersons hand in playing youngsters who, clearly he had no faith in previously....but hey, haven't they done a marvellous job!!!
4) Form of Key players--Huby playing out of his skin, Sarg putting in some graft, Hudson showing what we know he can do, and I see a certain Mr Westerman is also finding better form.
So all in all, TM out i'm afraid, absolutely no use starting our season with 11 games to go is there?

So us winning games is down to players coming back but losing games when these players are out is down to the coach?

As far as i'm concernedit beggers belief that some fans blame all the loses on the coach but give him no credit when we win. One of the phrases that tm bashes often like to use is that the performances are ultimatley his responsibility. Only when we lose apparently though.
And what do you mean widders owes us big time?

I have seen far too many bizarre influences from TM so all of a sudden start backing him. Lets not get carried away here, ELEVEN games left in the season and we put some form together?? Not good enough.
I have seen shocking team selection, persistent use of big name but ineffective players and now TM has, to some extent had his hand forced by the loss of such players, we have an upturn in form....that is due to a combination of factors.
Do you not agree with any of the points I have made?
Yes, Widders owes us BIG time for the amount of time he has sat out with injury over the past 2 years, i'm sure he'd admit that himself!!

=#0080FFI think thats a bit harsh on Deano. He's been arguably our best player since returning from injury IMO.
I'd say James Evans is the player who owes us big time.
