Following on from the interesting "Wakefield Players" thread we had last week, I'd like to start a new thread and post the betting odds for the weekends fixtures, I suspect, like me, most people have a little handicapp accumulator on the weekend and might like to see the odds, which may spark some "my bets of the weekend" chatter.



The William Hill podcast advertised on this board offers some debate and gives the odds and start given to the teams.

This weeks odds are supplied from SKYBet (but there are others):-



Saints (10/11) - Warrington (10/11) +6

Leeds (10/11) - Harlequins (10/11) +18

Wakefield (10/11) - Salford (10/11) +4

Huddersfield (10/11) - Hull (1011) +8

HKR (10/11) - Catalan (10/11) +18

Crusaders (10/11) - Bradford (10/11) Scr



Personally, I've gone for Quinns +18, Saints -6, HKR -18, Huddersfield -8 and Wakefield -4.

It pays a fair amount if successful.



Mods, would it be possible to make this a sticky so I/we could revisit it every week.

I've gone for Saints (-6), Wakefield (-4) and Bradford (+2) with Ladbrokes. My plan is to win a little each week and see what I end up with at the end of the season! Started last week and I'm £13 up.



Oh and a little side bet of Leeds to win by 16 - 20 and Saints to win by 6 - 10. Had an odd 93p in my account I wanted rid of

Saints -6, Hudds -8, Wakefield -4.



Quins have looked tight defensively although they haven't faced any tough opposition yet. Crusaders v Bradford could go either way and i'm not so sure Catalan can play as badly as they have so far, they actually do have some good players

2 out of 5 on my accumulator this week. All the aways teams won, bar one. Huddersfield, who'd have bet on that.

But the £5 double I had on Quinns @ 7/1 and Catalan @7/1 paid a hansome 63/1.

I suppose the lesson I've to learn is to make sure I tell you every bet I have over the weekend, so then at least knowbody will comeback and question anything I write.

Everyone can say 'I had £40 on St George to win by 5-10pts' a day after the event, just to make themselves look good.

Well yes, anybody could say that, but as I said before why would I need to, and could they also prove it with images as well.

But I was in a win/win situation, and if the bookies are willing to put quins up @ 7/1 it would be foolish not to have a bet. They had played much better than us in the previous 2 games, and did'nt deserve to be 7/1, but I think Catalans were.
