This weeks fish and chip wrapper that mate,its from friday the 11th and the rfl and rovers and Dobson and hudge(chairman)have issued statements since saying he is going nowhere and will only ever play in this country for Rovers.

Anyone can sign Dobson, he's a free agent. I would love it if someone did sign him aswell, personally i think it is out of order what Hull KR have done, and i cant belive the rfl have allowed it.

So who is paying him then? Presume Hull KR must have given him some sort of financial incentive to agree to have his contract terminated.. is this counted on the salary cap?

Maybe in consideration of him agreeing to have his existing playing contract terminated, they agreed to give him a better contract conditional only upon Mason coming off quota?

Theyll still be paying Dobson, as they signed Mason before he got injured, so they must be under the cap limit.

That may well be true. But surely if his contract has been terminated and they haven't yet lodged a new one with the RFL.. he has to be a free agent?
Whether he would be interested in going elsewhere is another question. |

Yes as far as i know he is actually a free agent after having his playing contract terminated.Note i said playing contract.
Also he is happy at rovers and doesnt want to leave and agreed to this move as did the rfl at every stage.
If anyone came in for him and he agreed then he would be gone,simples.
Sportsmen that give promises and then break them(mainly for money) are 10 a penny,this kid is going to be true to his word i and many more think.
