Mine would have to be Chris Hicks, he scores impossible tries, see Murrayfield. He almost never fails to score in a one on one situation.

David Hodgson - does nothing spectacular but is always on the end to finish off

surprisingly,i'd say david hodgson too,most of his tries are good finishing close to the line.

i would also say darrell goulding is pretty handy too so that evens out the club bias thing a little

Didn't the highlights of Fridays game state that Meli was the best? I swear I heard it.

He’s no doubt been a big part of Wigan’s success this year and I’m looking forward when Great Britain is back. How lovely it would be to have another Wigan Irish man representing us

Meli is a pretty good finisher.

Not sure you can keep Ryan Hall in that list after the game at Hull KR tonight.

He may not be at the top of the charts but Tom Briscoe scores some tries that very few others could score



Some are long range and some show stength and footwork near the line

Meli and Gardner are both superb at this. Just a shame their other talents don't tally.

Now, now! There's no need to swear -

you did hear it. I would have to agree with them he has scored some wonderful tries lately. At the moment I would say he is the best in form finisher in the comp.

i suppose it depends how you define a good finisher !

is it based on how good they are at getting the ball down in a tight situation with a defender on him close to the line ?



is it based on how powerful they are to break through a tackle and power they're way to the line from 30-40 yards out?



is it based on how fast they are to outsprint the defence and plonk the ball over the line ?

Which is abit of shame really because on Super League's Super Men he said he wouldn't play for Team GB and he would only play for Ireland.

Terrible shame and I would of known if I watched super leagues super men. Ah well whatever shirt he’s worn over his career he’s entertained and that’s all that matters.

Goulding's finishing has really impressed me this year.

I honestly think the best natural 'finisher' is Kevin Penny. Scores them from 5 or 105 meters. Great pace and agility and at 3 clubs a proven consistant try scorer.



But Pelo Hicks and Goulding are worth a shout, Goulding on current form.
