| Does anyone else think it would be a good idea for the fans to show a little more support for Joel Monaghan now?
He's playing great and he gets so much stick. I've noticed at the end of the matches he hangs back a little and applauds the crowd with his head down. The dog related chants are always going to be there and to be fair they are humorous and expected, but maybe its time to have a chant showing our fans are behind him?

| We love him Mrs Monaghan, didn't hear much baiting from Saints on Friday, but then there wasn't much noise of any kind from Saints on Friday.

Totally agree! Hes played his balls off these past three games, definately deserves his own chant IMO.

| He's been fantastic and I think he's getting plenty of support - hopefully he will get his own chant soon. God knows how good he'll be in dry weather.
My only fear is that he'll go home after this season.

He's got one, relating to him sticking his shaft into a dog food can, apparently.

| There was minimal shouting, but what shouting they did make was so embarassing. Singing the "What's it like to shag a dog?" chant when your team is 24-0 down and arguing amongst themselves beneath the posts is just cringeworthy.
I don't think he'll get much abuse and I think by next season (If he stays in this country long term) he'll not be treated any different to any other player.
But on his performance, he's no winger? He looks a perfect centre to me. Wasted on the wing IMO.

it seems like these St Helens folk can't help themselves

Quote You Scouse B...It was a slightly surreal interview today as in the background Lee Briers, who remains in denial of his role as one of Warrington's elder statesmen, was barking at regular intervals, and later wondered aloud why the club's media officers had not played Who Let the Dogs Out before Monaghan's press conference.'"
I hope Joel gave him the "You Scouse B..." or "Sign on...sign on...." chant in return.
