Looking at our team for 2012 and the amount of over 30's in it has got me worried that we may be signing up too many old players and not have the right balance. Look at Leeds now, with their old guard fading fast in Peacock, Sinfield, Senior, Buderus etc all past their best and no youngsters coming through to replace them.



Wire will have these over 30's in the squad next year

This lot can't carry on forever and we need to be looking to the future and bring in some fresh younger blood....

So what,they doing a fine job now and untill its obvious they are not who cares.

King won't stay, Clarke won't stay, plenty of young players have come through this season.

Yes but how many of them are gonna make it or get dumped?



Lots of potential but at the same time who is gonna replace Briers and Mozza and Hodgson by 2013 they will be retired and none of the above play in their roles.

Hopfully 2 of those named

O' Brien is a scrum half aint he, not a number 6?



Riley wont make the grade as a full back, not in a million years.



Mozza is not gonna be replaced easily, we could need to get in a top class import but none form the NRL will come here when they can earn more over there.

Go back to the years 2000, 2001, and 2002 regarding Briers. How many people thought then that he would be where he is now? Look at all the players we bought to replace him. We could say something similar about Myler and O'Brien today. Another years experience for these two could see them both absolutely flying. As regards Morley and Hodgson, how did they come here? We signed them from other clubs and Hodgson has only been here a few months. SL teams tend to have a fairly quick turnover and the Coach knows what he is doing.

What like Waterhouse and Laffanchi?

He's one from leftfield, Dureau if he carries on with his form could be worth a punt.

The difference between us and Leeds is that a lot of Leeds' older players are obviously not as good as they were a few years ago. Players like Briers, Carvell and Monas seem to be getting even better.
