Well I am a LISA member but I would throw something in the pot if it helped Basil get a player he wanted.

but thinking out loud for a moment, how about £20 gets you a scarf and Leigh a player?



I know that at Jonny’s prices that only gives Basil £17 per fan, but the scarf would become a sign of your commitment, other fans not on here like my neighbour the other day are asking where do you get them from, how much etc.



Those with scarves who get asked become fundraisers, without actually having to do anything other tell them how to go about getting a £20 scarf /player.



I’m sure most of us who’ve already bought one would pay up retrospectively.

I'd pay the £20 if it landed someone of the calibre of "Our Enry". I don't know how we would go about setting up a seperate bank account for the donations.

If a third of regular Leigh fans (and that's wildly optimistic I think) gave £20, thats around 400 * 20 = £8,000.
