Dont disagree with most of the above, but players lose confidence, losing like winning becomes a habit. Players play with injuries, mainly our two main half backs. My argument with you is your rant about signings, yes the DC's arent our players but we chose to sign them as DC's so yes we signed them, Duffy didnt come injured, Bibey didnt sign injured and neither did Steve Nash. If you have your crystal ball out any chance of tomorrows lottery numbers then our next signings will come from Melbourne as I will sign them.



Yes we are on a bad run, but who knows what the next 7 games will bring. Your comment about our signings is wrong and your reply is still wrong as none of the players you mention signed with any injuries. John Duffy along with Martin Ridyard has been our player of the year.

hopefully Ian will use the money on a decent player,rather then rush in and sign just anyone.

If it is too late to sign anyone else for this seasons run in, the sponsor money will come in very handy for Ian to make a few signings for next season (Fitzy and Littler will do for me)

Lets face it we need the money more then ever after the last few results, we need more walkers and sponsers,lets help the club out as much as WE can

if theres anywhere near £10 grand raised it very important we sign the right player/s,or else people wont rush to do things like this walk again.

There's more chance of us winning the GF or NRC next year in my opinion. Use the LISA money to make the right signing, along with investing whatever money we get when Hilly inevitably goes in two decent players. We've got a lot of injury-prone players we should let go and free up funds with, Stanton, Hartley, Nash, Higson, Meekin. And a few that probably arn't good enough to take us any further McConnell, Lueluai, Morrison, Mort, Durbin. That's 11 players we can free up. I'd sign 7 good quality pros and fill the squad up with 4 or 5 of our best academy products. What do you reckon?

Nash, Higson and Meekin are on contract with us next year too. I think the other players you mentioned are out of contract.

My view is AJ has class and I also think Meekin is a good prospect.

Frank 2 words for you Nick Stanton,i agree though Meekin has time on his side.

Well I am not coach of course but I happen to think Stanton is our best winger. We have had posts about various players but despite their shortcomings it is Basil who selects what he thinks is his best 17. We can all point to various errors in games by all of our players what fan of any team can't say that ?
