Yes there is Matt , the angle is that the club need to guarantee a set amount of income , it cannot fall short of the required amount



You cannot please all the people all the time , but you can give them as many options as possible , that is what the club have done



Anybody who might buy a season ticket will fully understand why they are priced at what they are , but there are enough other options to suit everybody , or not it would seem

The only income the club can guarantee from ticket sales is season tickets. I suspect they might sell a fraction of last years this off season.



It's a gamble, if we do well they are likely to get more income than last year. If we falter we could take a big hit.

The club cannot guarantee anything , the playing and coaching contracts are already agreed long before anybody buys a season ticket



So it's always a gamble , but somebody has to make the decision , they could have reduced them to £ 100 quid and still sell the same amount



As I said , somebody has to make the decision , but not you , they are the ones willing to be shot at , but you don't normally expect your own to do the shooting

I can state that a number of former ST mates wont be renewing because of cost but will instead be attending most games via the early bird ticket, but will go to less if we are pooh.

Just out of interest , are these the type of people you expect to join the touchdown club on the other thread ?

For the last couple of seasons I haven't bought a season ticket simply because it costs more to buy individual tickets and I pay more to the club that way
