Recently a few of us supporters were approached by Trevor Barton to form a focus group for the north stand, basically a group of supporters who can give feed back from various initiatives the club put into place, aswell as putting forward ideas and any questions that we want to ask. From the first initial meeting Trevor seemed very receptive to our ideas and acted upon them, and indeed a number of ideas are currently past the planning stage.

, im not knocking you or a Supporters Group , but we have had loads of ideas for Fundraising, some good , some not so good , some stupid , but its action we need to get funds , lets have somebody doing something , or backing the Fundraisers we already have .

Yes, we do have lots of ideas and these guys who have formed the North Stand Forum are going to implement some of them - i.e. they ARE acting on them. What they are finding is that there are a lot more good ideas cropping up and they, like the rest of the PSG, want to go with the best of them.



Hopefully, at the next Forum, in January, Trevor and others, will be able to expand on some of these ideas.



Meanwhile, keep up the excellent work, 'North Standers', and anyone else who wants to join in, the more chance we have of bringing some of these ideas to fruition.

Totally agree Alan , but we have had so many ideas , as i said , we need action , people getting involved , i havesaid in the past your Programme is for me the BEST in our League , up their with Super League standards , i have a couple of ideas for next season , for you to use , i will put them to you soon.



Again my message to Leigh Fans is back the Club , and ANY Fundraisers that interest you as we need all the Support we can get .

If you send your ideas a across, we'll discuss them with Trevor. I did bring up in 1 of the meetings, the club haven't sent out the emails with updates from the site. Last few days I've had them.



We also discussed posters/leaflets and general advertising.... In depth, spent at least 40 mins talking about we're to advertise



Rome wasn't built in a day, but 1 step at a time we can make this work.

Does anybody know the 3 busiest roads around the Leigh/arherton area. One will be the bypass, between the sport village and asda/sainsburys

Leigh rd at the traffic lights with kerkhall lane.

Bolton rd in atherton.

Twist lane at the junction with wigan rd and firs lane get very busy at times

The road past Lidl & Tesco.
