Right fellow Giants fans, how can we improve our away support? It is about time we as fans of this club start to take this club forward and one of the main ways we can do this is with our away support. I will be bringing this up at the supporters meeting in a few weeks at the gas club, i am willing to do my bit are you? As many ideas as possible are welcome.



The supporters who go away now are the same bunch who go to them all, if we can influence others to do the same it would be fantastic, we cant use the football excuse anymore, no excuses just ideas. Thanks

We've tried - the people on here go to the games and although there has been a slight improvement i hate to say it but most of our fans will not travel to games unless its a Final or a Semi-Final !!

I know that sounds negative but i dont there is anything we can do to get more people to come !!

I have a never say never attitude so i will stick with it, if you get any ideas Daz let me know. There is always something that can be done.

I would love to see thousands of Giants fans at an away game but i'm realistic and know it wont happen,i have stuck with it for 20+ years now and i've introduced lots of people to the game but we cant make people go !

We could offer coach travel for £1 but it still wouldn't entice people out of their front rooms !

i agree with daz,we have far too many fairweather fans as proved yesterday!



im afraid that as a general rule the people of huddersfield simply arent interested in the giants,we have to make do with what we have im afraid, saying that subsidised travel might be worth a shot,like warrington have been doing, but who would subsidise it?

I will email the club about this, and see how it goes, i am sticking with it and i will keep you updated on how i get on. I like the idea of giving vouchers in season tickets for free/money off away travel.

even free tickets dont seem to have had any effect, good luck tho

|All this talk of Huddersfield being a football town is not something i buy into. If you can get kids early enough they will be bored stiff going to a football match. What you need to do is to make the Rugby an attractive proposition to kids ( and parents) in a non playing sense.ie what goes on in and around the ground rather than on the pitch.



I have given loads of ideas on how this can be done and it is up to the club and the =#FF0000SUPPORTERS to do it.
