I thought he actually tried to 'dummy' the drop kick and then go round the Saints player, but ended up dropping it but i'd have to see it again



either that or he caught his reflection in the Saints players eye and thought 'my hair is looking even more ridiculous than ever this evening!' and dropped the ball in shock

He just seems to push mistakes out his head immediately and keeps coming. Just a top drawer player, with a mental attitude to match.

Agree mostly, but without him organizing our attack like he does we wouldn't of won tonight. Everything was off him

Longy gave us vital direction tonight. Wasnt in my top 5 performers but gives us what we need. Surprised he was named mom.

Any truth in the rumour hes going to renage?(spelling)on his contract at the end of the season.Did longy have a one or two yr deal?

His most important contribution may have been whilst stood in the in-goal area after their tries. Never stopped talking and cajoling his troops, how good it is to in contrast with the last couple of years where heads would have been allowed to drop, i know mine had. He put in some excellent kicks, particularly in the first half.

He is on a two year deal - why would he leave?

Was really important to us tonight, 2nd half he kept asking questions of the Saints defence and his kicking was excellent.

I thought they targeted him in defence last night at every opportunity. That said he kept coming back for more, I'm happy to say he proves me wrong on a weekly basis; he's more tenacious than I thought before we signed him and definitely a lot more driven.

Agree. It seemed like he was trying too hard to me at times and with the ball in his hands some stuff just didn't come off for him. That said, the guy is a born leader and he directed us around the park superbly and never gave in.



I loved the fact that although he is a character, he didn't let his ego get the better of him last night. I can only imagine how much it would have meant to him if he had kicked the winning drop goal, but after 2 attempts he put the team before himself and sucked in some of the pressure to allow Tickle to slot over the 1 pointer. Big raps to him for that.
