Apparently he played through illness tonight, was a doubt right up to k/o.

His never give up attitude was there for all to see. Not his best game in defence but never let his head drop. Just what i'd expect from the clubs captain. Great attitude and inspirational character.

Thought Longy ran himself in the ground tonight, he tried everything, his never say die attitude, definetely rubbed off on the rest of the team, you saw what it meant to him at the end of the game, great effort Longy!!

He gave 110% tonight, really lead by example and tried to do everything he could for the side.

Longy was great tonight, especially given the fact he'd been ill during the week.



He needs to practice his drop goals though.

Actually thought he wasn't all that great tonight TBH but the few things he did well were important. That "drop goal" attempt was shocking though.

By the way what happened to Long's 1st drop gaol attempt? did he just drop it or did the ball get stuck in the turf as it didn't appear to bounce.

I agree but wasnt aware of his illness prior to the game. He still was vital in our win and my God isnt it nice to have a playmaker/general in the side.
