His most important contribution may have been whilst stood in the in-goal area after their tries. Never stopped talking and cajoling his troops, how good it is to in contrast with the last couple of years where heads would have been allowed to drop, i know mine had. He put in some excellent kicks, particularly in the first half.

Was really important to us tonight, 2nd half he kept asking questions of the Saints defence and his kicking was excellent.

I thought they targeted him in defence last night at every opportunity. That said he kept coming back for more, I'm happy to say he proves me wrong on a weekly basis; he's more tenacious than I thought before we signed him and definitely a lot more driven.

Agree. It seemed like he was trying too hard to me at times and with the ball in his hands some stuff just didn't come off for him. That said, the guy is a born leader and he directed us around the park superbly and never gave in.



I loved the fact that although he is a character, he didn't let his ego get the better of him last night. I can only imagine how much it would have meant to him if he had kicked the winning drop goal, but after 2 attempts he put the team before himself and sucked in some of the pressure to allow Tickle to slot over the 1 pointer. Big raps to him for that.

Was never MOM but he was always going to get it with a half decent performance against his old club. Hit and miss last night and some of his tackling was poor however Agar put this down to his illness prior to the game.

James Webster said after the game that Longy was 50/50 to play as he'd been ill for a couple of days. Big effort all things considered and was never going to miss the game v saints.
